One fruitful remedy to save kids
Samaritan Compassion Camping Ministry is Baptist Church Based organization that has been promoting the dynamic work of children’s camping ministry around the the Republic of Georgia since 2016. We work together with the indigenous Campers to reach the children of the Republic of Georgia.
Our programs focus on complete transformation through intentional evangelism, discipleship and leadership training programs. We train young people from churches that are local to each area, and equip them to reach the children and families in their communities through engaging camp experiences and year-round follow up. The children will then often introduce their families and friends to the people in the church.
Georgia. A beautiful country with loving people. Yet when you look with spiritual eyes at all of this and realize that one day it will all end, it drives you to do something to save them.
Without Christ these people will all be lost, just as it was in the days of Noah when those who were not in the ark all died. In our country we certainly face some difficulties when we preach to people, but it is still our obligation to preach to them.
One fruitful remedy in our country is camp ministry, and through this ministry any children are coming to salvation.
When you see how children respond to the gospel you completely forget the difficulties and tiredness of making camp. It is very tiring work, but much is achieved by much effort.
Our desire and dream is to have our own camp facility. But until then, anyone can help to see children and young people saved in our country.
You can help sponsor a child for a 7-10-day camp for $80-150.
After camp the children write thank you letters about what was exciting and impacting to them. Reading these letters gives us the strength to not stop or get tired in doing God’s work, especially when you know that what you do makes God smile.
All of heaven rejoices when one sinner is saved and when you help one child you have part in this joy.
